Elizabeth “Lizzy” Rothschild is convinced yoga is her saving grace. Growing up with anxiety, migraines, and difficulty concentrating, she discovered yoga at 22 and has been transforming ever since. Once she was given the assignment to list five things she liked about herself, but the only glaring quality was that she liked the person she was on her yoga mat; curious, non-judgemental, committed, peaceful, strong, patient, and balanced. It was at this point she realized the real yoga is taking that special person off the mat, and integrating her into the many other facets of life.

Since training with several amazing teachers from the Bay Area to Brazil, Lizzy graduated Nubia Teixeira’s school of Bhakti Nova Yoga, with 200 and 500 hour certifications. Bhakti Nova combines Hatha (physical postures), Bhakti (devotional practices), and Kriya (selfless service). She leads her classes with her whole heart, weaving alignment, humor, poetry, adjustments, song, and much more. With a pervading belief that yoga is for everybody, she makes classes accessible to all ages and abilities. Expect to connect to your breath and feel secure, in your body and in the room, and most importantly, to have fun.
