Shaun Nunes, BS, is a nationally recognized speed, strength and conditioning coach, personal trainer, motivational speaker, gym owner, gym designer and fitness business consultant. Shaun motivates, educates and inspires people worldwide. He is the founder of HealthBeforeFitness.com. HB4F is a four-pillar, 90-day online coaching and fitness system. It is designed to teach clients how to implement health and fitness as a lifestyle to achieve and sustain a healthy, vibrant life. Shaun and his girlfriend, Giselle, reside in San Ramon, CA.
At the ripe old age of 5 years old, Shaun knew one thing: HE WANTED TO BUILD AN INCREDIBLE PHYSIQUE AND CHANGE LIVES. Shaun’s father is a very passionate, hardworking, successful personal trainer and competitive bodybuilder. At a young age, Shaun learned the importance of a proper fitness and nutrition program. He learned how the body builds muscle and burns fat. Shaun was able to witness PASSION first hand and the incredible impact of CHANGING LIVES. He quickly realized what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Shaun earned his BS degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Fitness, Nutrition, and Health and specialty in Sport Psychology from San Diego State University.
Over the last 21+ years Shaun has worked and trained in a number of commercial gyms, private studios and elite strength and conditioning facilities all over the country. From corporate to independent, youth to NFL athletes, teams to the individual, Shaun wanted to discover why people fail when it comes to their health and fitness.
Based on his experiences (and the endless conversations he has had with hundreds of other highly qualified athletes, coaches, advisors, doctors and professors) it is safe to say that whenever someone gets a little spark of motivation or they look in the mirror and realize they need to make a change, the first thing they do is immediately head to the gym. Shaun saw so many people react with no plan, no vision, no deeper reasons, no goals, no strategy and no accountability. He has developed a lifestyle system to address all of these issues that will work for anyone.
In addition to working with high-profile athletes and executives, Shaun attracts many fitness entrepreneurs and professionals looking for assistance in planning, designing, supplying and consulting for their fitness space. These industries include home gyms, commercial gyms, multi-unit family developments, corporate wellness, strength & conditioning facilities, rescue/police/fire departments and so many more.

Elizabeth “Lizzy” Rothschild is convinced yoga is her saving grace. Growing up with anxiety, migraines, and difficulty concentrating, she discovered yoga at 22 and has been transforming ever since. Once she was given the assignment to list five things she liked about herself, but the only glaring quality was that she liked the person she was on her yoga mat; curious, non-judgemental, committed, peaceful, strong, patient, and balanced. It was at this point she realized the real yoga is taking that special person off the mat, and integrating her into the many other facets of life.
Since training with several amazing teachers from the Bay Area to Brazil, Lizzy graduated Nubia Teixeira’s school of Bhakti Nova Yoga, with 200 and 500 hour certifications. Bhakti Nova combines Hatha (physical postures), Bhakti (devotional practices), and Kriya (selfless service). She leads her classes with her whole heart, weaving alignment, humor, poetry, adjustments, song, and much more. With a pervading belief that yoga is for everybody, she makes classes accessible to all ages and abilities. Expect to connect to your breath and feel secure, in your body and in the room, and most importantly, to have fun.
